AlsaVA, running on your own machine
The desktop app is AlsaVA's private tier. Your data lives in a local database on your device instead of on our servers — and it's the full assistant, not a cut-down one. Here's exactly what's included, what stays local, and why we built it this way.

Why a desktop app — and why it's safer
Your data never leaves your device
Your notes, contacts, memories and full conversation history live in a database on your own machine — not on a server we run. Nothing for us to read, breach, or hand over. Privacy by architecture, not by promise.
The assistant runs on your machine
The agent, your long-term memory and on-device search all run locally. Only the per-message AI reply is sent to our cloud model — using our AI key, so you never paste one — and it sees just that message, never your stored data.
Your channels connect directly
WhatsApp and your other channels pair straight from your device, not through a shared server — the assistant works on your behalf from your machine, like one sitting at your desk.

All in a local database on your PC — never uploaded.
Leaves your device (only this)
- • Sign-in— verified with our account server (so your license follows you). Your data isn't sent.
- • Each AI message — relayed to our cloud model for that one reply, then discarded. The model gets only what you typed/said that turn — never your stored notes, memory or history.
Our AI key stays on our server (you never hold one), and we never store your content.
Why Windows first — Mac & Linux coming soon
The private tier runs a real local engineon your machine — a small server, a database, and the connectors that talk to WhatsApp and the rest. Each operating system needs its own build and round of testing, so we're rolling out one platform at a time.
Windows is available now — it's where most of our users are. macOS and Linux are next: same architecture, the builds are already wired up; they just need a final pass of testing and signing before release.
