Everything you can do with AlsaVA

AlsaVA is your AI personal assistant — it chats, talks, remembers what matters about you, and acts across your tools. This guide walks through every feature and how to use it.

Overview

AlsaVA combines a conversational AI with a living memory. As you talk to it, it quietly distills durable facts about you and organizes them into a visual brain graph — so it gets more useful over time and you can see exactly what it knows. Nothing is hidden.

  • Watch it think” — when it recalls a memory, the graph lights up the exact facts it pulled, with similarity scores.
  • Chat & voice — type or talk; the assistant answers and uses tools.
  • Tools — live web search, weather, time, and (when connected) Google Calendar, Gmail and Drive.
  • Yours — your memories are private to your account and fully editable.

Getting started

  1. 1Create an account on the login page (email + password), or log in if you already have one.
  2. 2You land on the dashboard — the brain graph fills the screen with your memory clusters.
  3. 3Use the “Ask AlsaVA” bar at the bottom to chat, or tap the mic to talk.
  4. 4Tell it a few things about yourself (see Memory) and watch the clusters grow.
Your data lives in your account. The more durable facts you share, the more helpful and personalized AlsaVA becomes.

The Brain (memory graph)

The dashboard isa live map of AlsaVA's memory of you. The center is AlsaVA; around it sit your connected integrations and your memory clusters.

  • Clusters — your memories are auto-sorted into life categories: Work & Projects, Health & Wellness, Travel, Finance, Learning & Research, Ideas & Products, People & Relationships, Personal Growth, plus an Other catch-all.
  • Satellites — each small node is one remembered fact, linked to its cluster and to semantically related memories (the “web of a mind”).
  • Decay — older, untouched memories fade and shrink; fresh ones glow brightly.
  • Click a cluster to open the Memory panel filtered to that category, where you can edit or forget any fact.
  • Drag to orbit the 3D view, scroll to zoom.

Chatting with AlsaVA

Type in the “Ask AlsaVA” bar or open the chat dock. AlsaVA answers conversationally and calls tools when useful — silently weaving the result into a natural reply.

Try things like:

  • What's the weather in Mumbai?
  • Find the cheapest noise-cancelling headphones in India — it searches the live web and returns real options with links.
  • What's today's date and time?
AlsaVA never invents prices, links, or live facts — it searches and cites sources instead.

Memory & recall

There are two ways memories get stored, and they show up in your brain graph either way:

  • Automatically — after a conversation, AlsaVA distills genuinely new, durable facts about you (identity, role, preferences, relationships, goals). It's conservative — small talk and one-off logistics are ignored.
  • On demand — say save to memory: I'm vegetarian (or “remember that …”) and it writes the fact straight to your memory graph and classifies it into the right cluster.

Recall (“watch it think”): ask about something you've stored and AlsaVA runs a semantic search — the graph beams from the center to the matching memories, each labeled with a similarity score. You see exactly what it pulled.

Editing: open the Memory panel (click a cluster, or the sidebar) to edit or forget any fact. Forgetting removes it from the graph immediately.

Quick scratch reminders (“remember my flight is Friday”) are kept as notes, separate from the durable memory graph.

Voice

Tap the mic in the Ask bar to start a live, spoken conversation (realtime, low-latency). Talk naturally — AlsaVA listens, thinks, and replies out loud, with live captions in the chat.

  • The center logo glows while it's listening and pulses brighter while it's speaking.
  • The same retrieval spotlight fires for spoken turns — say something you've stored and watch the graph light up.
  • End the call any time; the conversation is summarized into your history.

Tools & capabilities

AlsaVA decides when to use a tool based on what you ask. Built-in:

  • Web search — current prices, products, availability, opening hours, recent facts (with sources).
  • Weather — current conditions for any city.
  • Date & time — resolves “today / tomorrow / next Friday”.
  • News — latest headlines.
  • Email drafting — composes a message and shows it for your approval; it only sends after you explicitly confirm.
  • Save / recall memory — as covered above.

When Google is connected, it also gains Calendar, Gmail and Drive/Docs tools (next section).

Google integration

Connect Google to let AlsaVA work with your Workspace. Go to Integrations and click Connect Google, then grant consent in the popup. Once linked, AlsaVA can:

  • Calendar — view your schedule, create / reschedule / cancel events, find free time.
  • Gmail — read your inbox (e.g. unread, from a person) and draft / send mail on your behalf (with your confirmation).
  • Drive & Docs — find, read, create and organize documents.
One Google consent covers the whole Workspace. Your tokens are stored securely server-side and can be disconnected any time from Integrations.

Channels & integrations

AlsaVA isn't just the web app — connect your everyday messaging and email and it works there too: Telegram, WhatsApp, Gmail, and Discord.

Connecting them takes a moment from Settings → Integrations in your dashboard: link Google (which also covers Gmail), add your Telegram bot, pair WhatsApp, or connect Discord. Each connection is tied to your account, and you can disconnect any of them anytime.

Once a channel is connected, AlsaVA can act as your representative: when someone messages you there, it replies on your behalf, in your own voice. It learns your tone, phrasing and style from how you actually write (even Hinglish), so replies sound like you, not a bot — while keeping your private information private. And you stay in control: choose whether replies go out automatically or wait for your okay first.

The web app and voice assistant work out of the box — messaging channels are optional add-ons you connect whenever you want them.

Privacy & data

  • Your memories are yours — scoped to your account, never shared across users.
  • Fully editable — view, edit, or forget any remembered fact at any time.
  • Transparent recall — you can always see which memories were used to answer you.
  • Confirmed actions — anything outward-facing (sending email, etc.) requires your explicit go-ahead.

FAQ

Why is a cluster empty?

You haven't stored facts in that category yet. Chat about that part of your life, or use “save to memory: …”, and satellites will appear.

I said “remember this” but it didn't show in the graph.

Plain “remember …” may save a quick note instead of a durable memory. Use “save to memory: …” to put a fact directly into the brain graph.

Does it remember everything I say?

No — the auto-learner is deliberately conservative. It keeps durable facts about you and ignores small talk and one-off logistics.

How do I make it forget something?

Open the Memory panel, find the fact, and click Forget. It's removed from the graph right away.

Still have a question? Just ask AlsaVA — it can explain itself.
